This trail starts at Sleggubeinadalur near geothermal plant at Hellisheiði. It takes you up Húsmúli to Skeggi or Vörðu-Skeggi, the highest peak in the Hengill area, 803 meters high. The trail has sticks to show you the correct path. On the way back we went through to Innstidalur.
