Scenic drive and several short walks about an hour or so north of Las Vegas, in red and yellow desert scenery. Native Pictograph site is closely accessible on stairs with hand rails. Desert walking paths are natural terrain and easy to follow. There are restroom facilities with easy parking. A large interpretive center is worth a stop in the middle of the park, and has food and water available.

Approaching from Interstate, driving to east. This parking marks start of really spectacular desert scenery.
This one is accessible on a staircase with handrails. Close to parking.
Interperative Center, facilities
Start of a natural desert path walk, take lots of water. Small lizards leave tracks in sand.
There is another parking and trail a bit farther north on the road. Brighy red, wind eroded sandstone formations in this area.
