EN - La primera sección del sendero gana elevación progresivamente y pronto comienza a escalar una sección ejecutable hasta el cráter de Pico Viejo. A partir de ahí, el camino se vuelve más desafiante y difícil de seguir, especialmente con un faro. El GPS me ayudó mucho. Muchos lugares de interés lo obligan a detenerse para tomar fotos. Comenzó temprano a las 5:30 a.m. con un cielo estrellado claro sin luna. Al apagar el faro se ofrecían magníficas vistas de la Vía Láctea.
Antes de las 9 a. M. Puede subir al borde del cráter del Teide sin el permiso obligatorio del Parque.

Congratulations for this challenge, Jordi. I think some time in making 0-4000 (Teide) in a day ... we shall see!

Thanks Captain! :-) Sure you can do it!! and the scenery above 2000 mts is magnificent. There is a race course to do that in a day called "Tenerife Blue Trail" departing from "Los Cristianos".

Update on the information from 2022. Access to the last path (#10 Telesforo Bravo ) which takes you to the actual pico Teide before 9am is no longer free. In addition to the traditional 200 daily permits to access after 9am there is now a different permit required for accessing between 6am and 9am (50 daily permits). Luckily we learnt about it from another wikiloc user. They are obtained in the same website of parques naturales as the other ones and it seems that so far they are available without problem and you just need to get it more than 24 hours in advance.

I am on the website and I do not see this early morning option anywhere.
Can you tell me how I can get this before 9am ticket?
