The beginning of the trail begins about 4 miles south of Alamo. The start of the trail is confusing at a four road intersection - just go straight. There are several well maintained walking trails in the first half mile.
The entire road is a smooth and well maintained. I dare say it acceptable for any vehicle and extremely well suited for trail motorcycles. winds through the valley on the Eastern side of Badger Mountain. I have never seen any vehicle traffic on this road. Very scenic.
