Bidearen deskribapena
This trail is about 30 minutes away from home. A beautiful natural wonder of a combination of forest, rock, and walk by the Damour river. I will let the pictures tell the story.
An easy trail.
An easy trail.

Dear Zahi, i have been following you for long and would like to talk to you about an app that we (European Union) are financing on ecotourism. There will be a function for hikes and would like to know if you would be interested to contribute. If so could you send me a friend request via Facebook ? I will share my WhatsApp there. Best regards, Olivier

Unfortunately it is not possible to walk the loop anymore. The path next to the river is blocked many times and at some point it was absolutely impossible to find an option to continue. So we had to walk all the way back. Several stretches of the path are rather dirty. Good protection for thorns is needed. Parts of the track are scenic but we have hiked many better tracks in Lebanon.
Sorry to hear that the trail is no longer available. The trail scenery is beautiful; especially the last few kilometers by the river.
In all cases, I am going to walk it again this month and will send an update.
Keep Hiking.

I did this trail yesterday all the way from the start till the end; I think you hit a bock on the water canal segment where you couldn't continue; if you looked to your right, you would have noticed the path which is about 2 meters blow and .6 cm horizontally to the right of the canal.
In all cases, the trail has changed - I saw an environmental massacre. Many old trees have been recently felled to the ground.
