lGood steep climb up typical SE Madeira lanes with footpaths passing through huge variety of garden crops, up the arête of lombarbo do detour, then west along the lavada Calheta-prazeres, then up above the tree line into the Forrest before returning via pub and beach restaurants. Loads of places to park anywhere on the lower part of the route. It’s up and down do almost impossible to get lost. Can be cool at the top if there is cloud. Loads of places to refill water.

By Turing right a short while ago, you pass through many back gardens with a glorious variety of home grown produce. It somrset to the valley with the hotel saccrum on the coast

Up on the hill, now in lights is a good restaurant. Great view and good portions
