Lovely circular hike to Shere and back again. Eat halfway in Shere at dabbling duck or newlands corner at plucky pheasant. Great river for dogs just outside Shere.

Great walk in October 2024. Took an hour to Shere where there are two pubs ( William Bray very good) and several eateries. 50 minutes from there to the starting point. Free parking at Newlands Corner, where there are two cafes.
