Steep hike up (for 3.5h) and down another (3h) - Very well prepared trail and easy to follow. Steps most of the way up, even balustrade added in some areas.
Recommended to start as early as possible (6am) as the trail gets fully exposed to sun from 10am. Huts on the way (approx every hour) provide shade and a perfect stop for a rest.
Note: this is not the Stairway to Heaven route, only the right bank return/way down part of the famous STH.
